Al Taqwa Islamic Center is also known as Al Taqwa Masjid and Funeral Service Foundation is a nonprofit, nonpolitical, educational, humanitarian, and charitable organization. We stand for standard of care, education, humanity, and equality.

ACTIVE CAMPAIGNS

Masjid Construction - $500,000

We worked with an engineering firm to estimate cost for design, repairs and build the Masjid. The cost includes materials, labor and reconstruction fees. We need the following:

General main building rehab
New roof
New HVAC
Men’s bathrooms
Women’s Bathrooms
Wudu area for men
Wudu area for Women
Carpet for all prayer areas
Security system
Parking lot paving
Fence
Front build structure rehab

The foundation will be hosting a couple of fundraisers with The Islamic Foundation of Greater St Louis, Inc. (IFGSTL) to help raise the full amount of $500,000.

Masjid Payment - $320,000

We purchased the building for $600,000. We made an initial payment for $120,000 and the first payment was due in Jan 2022 in the amount of $80,000. We are asking for your donation to help cover this expense. The membership program funds generally used for this purpose.
